A forged iron pillar candle holder in a distressed antique bronze finish, with greenish patina settling into the recesses and worn golden-brass highlights catching the raised edges. The surface is mottled and deliberately uneven, its darker crevices deepening the sense of age while the smooth moulded edges keep a quiet sheen. The overall effect is of metal that has been handled for a century rather than made last season.
The silhouette is classically proportioned: a wide fluted tray at the top, a broad tiered pedestal at the base, and between them the piece's defining gesture, an open twisted spiral stem, forged rather than cast, so the coil turns with a slight irregularity that gives it life. The larger size adds a rounded bulbous iron ornament between the tray and the spiral, lifting the form and deepening the profile.
There is no applied pattern or printed detail anywhere on the piece. The ornament is entirely structural, the fluting, the coil, the tiered moulding. It reads differently from every angle as the light moves across the metal.
Suited to pillar candles and styled as a table centrepiece, mantel accent, or console detail, it brings old-world European weight to rustic, traditional, or antique farmhouse interiors.
