Bastet Glass Mosaic Leopard Statue

A seated panther rendered in hand-laid glass mosaic, its entire surface built from individually set shards worked across the head, torso, legs, and tail. The pose is upright and still, with the front legs straight, hind legs tucked, tail curled neatly around the paws. The head turned in profile to give the silhouette a poised, watchful line.

Light breaks across the faceted edges and settles into the seams between pieces, producing a surface that sparkles rather than shines. Beneath the glass, a creamy off-white ground shows through the gaps, giving the whole piece a pale, luminous base and keeping the reflections warm instead of cold.

The body is fiber-reinforced polymer, hard and stable, with the glass applied over it by hand. The result is a surface with real depth: textured beneath, faceted above, and alive to any change in the light. Available facing left or right.
