At Maison Adeo, many of our pieces are made to order, and all items are shipped internationally by air. The cost of global freight is significant, and our policy is designed to reflect the bespoke nature of our products while being fair to both you and us. Please review carefully before making a purchase.

 

1. Order Cancellations (Before Shipment)
  • Within 12 hours of placing your order: Full refund to original payment method.
  • After 12 hours but within 48 hours: Cancellation requests are reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis. If production or procurement of your item has already begun, we reserve the right to offer store credit instead of a refund.
  • After 48 hours: The order is considered confirmed and cannot be cancelled unless the item is defective (see Section 2).
2. Returns, Exchanges & Defects (After Shipment and After Delivery)

 

Once your order has shipped, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect selection, colour variance, or personal preference. This applies whether the item is currently in transit or has already been delivered.
We accept returns and exchanges ONLY in the case of major defects or items damaged during shipping. Each claim is examined on a case‑by‑case basis, and we reserve the right to deny any request at our sole discretion.
We do not offer refunds to original payment methods. If a claim is approved, we will offer one of the following:
  • A replacement item shipped to you at no additional cost (subject to availability), or
  • An exchange for an item of equal value.
To submit a claim, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@maisonadeo.com. Provide clear photo or video evidence showing the issue, including the packaging. We reserve the right to request additional documentation.
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances:
  • Custom or made-to-order items (unless they arrive with a major defect)
  • Items marked as final sale
  • Items damaged due to customer mishandling after delivery
  • Any item returned without prior written authorization
3. European Union Customers
Notwithstanding the above, if you are in the EU, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt for any reason under EU consumer protection law. However, you are responsible for all return shipping costs, and we will deduct our original outbound shipping cost from any refund or store credit. Custom and made-to-order items are exempt from this right where permitted by EU law.
4. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our business grows. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies.
