This vase is a planar sculptural vessel rooted in cubist portraiture, defined by its stele-like upright silhouette. Formed from ceramic with a smooth glossy glaze, this low-depth slab vase features softly rounded edges, an opening at the top for stems, and a fragmented portrait assembled from interlocking geometric color blocks accented with metallic gold inlays and delicate dotted neck ornamentation.
It holds short fresh stems or dried botanicals and acts as a striking standalone art object, suited for sideboards, console tables, mantels and open shelving within mid-century, abstract modern and eclectic contemporary interiors.
