Similar to the classic Italian Carrara marble, the stone of Renaissance sculptors, in everyday form. At 1cm thick and approximately 11cm across, it has the solid feel of a properly cut slab, heavy enough to stay where it's put and cool enough to hold condensation at bay. A bright white ground carries soft, feathery grey veining that scatters organically across the polished surface. The gently irregular shape is finished by hand rather than cut to a template, keeping the look relaxed and modern. Natural marble means natural variation: each coaster carries its own pattern of veins and clouds, so no two are ever quite alike. Wipe with a damp cloth; keep acidic spills brief to protect the polish.
