Ettrick Tartan Throw Blanket

An all-over plaid of intersecting lines forms a repeating grid of squares and rectangles across the front face, in two colourways. The camel ground is a warm light tan, crossed with black, white, and fine rust-red lines, and reverses to a marled heathered knit blending red and dark threads. The cream ground is a soft off-white, crossed with black and a fine cranberry red, and reverses to a marled knit blending pink and dark threads. In both, the reverse carries no plaid, so each blanket offers two distinct looks from one piece.

The knit is brushed and fuzzy rather than flat woven, plush but light in the hand, with enough fluidity to fall softly over furniture. Edges are neatly finished all round, and the surface holds its texture through use without matting.

Classic in a country-plaid tradition, the blanket layers easily over bedding or sits across a sofa or chair as a lap cover, and works with warm neutrals and natural wood.
