A set of two hand-thrown ceramic vases united by a diagonal cascade of layered ruffle relief—one tall and oval, one short and bulbous. The smooth cream matte body forms a quiet backdrop for the sculptural frill, each fold outlined in thin scarlet red. Hand-sculpted clay sheets are layered and crimped, then bonded to the vessel before glazing. The diagonal composition breaks symmetry, bringing soft movement to the stationary form. Fully waterproof, they hold fresh or dried stems. Ideal for a console or mantel, they bring quiet, sculptural warmth to Japandi or Wabi-sabi interiors. Folded, fired, serene.
