A pedestal cake stand in full glossy creamy-white, with a wide scalloped-edge round top plate and a flared, ruffled pedestal base that tapers at the mid-section and flares out to a broad stable foot. Floral garlands of roses, buds, and foliage are fixed to the inner rim of the top plate, and a second hand-formed flower and rolled-bud cluster is applied prominently to the front face of the pedestal base.
The serving surface is smooth and reflective, while the multi-layer floral relief on both rim and foot holds crisp sculpted petal and leaf detail against the glaze. No printed or painted motif appears on the piece.
Rooted in rococo-revival and romantic traditional style, the stand works as a table centerpiece for cakes, pastries, or displays.
