A classic Meiping vase in blue-and-white porcelain, its silhouette swelling at the shoulder before tapering elegantly to a compact base. Framed by a small rounded lip and short neck accented with thin blue lines, it carries hand-painted grape vines, lobed foliage, clustered fruit, long-tailed birds, and butterflies in layered cobalt washes. Select berries and curling tendrils are gilded for restrained metallic contrast; the premium ceramic is finished with a glossy clear glaze over bright white. It holds fresh or dried stems or stands empty as a tabletop focal point on consoles, sideboards, cabinet tops, and display shelves. Suited to light French blended New Chinese, classic Chinese, and minimalist interiors, it pairs well with timber, linen, and blue-and-white schemes. An emblem of abundance, quietly gilded.
