A sculptural ceramic vase with an amphora-inspired silhouette: a narrow, slightly uneven neck flares at the top to reveal a deep charcoal interior, while the body widens into a broad, faceted midsection with soft, rounded edges before tapering to a small, stable base. Two symmetrical looped handles extend from the neck to the upper body, their organic, hand-formed curves echoing traditional pottery. The exterior is finished in a warm, creamy off-white to pale beige glaze with subtle tonal variations—lighter across the upper body, warmer and more muted below—accented by faint speckles that hint at the clay's natural impurities. The surface features a softly hammered, dimpled texture that catches light in uneven highlights, with a semi-glossy finish that remains muted and organic. The rim is gently uneven, and the charcoal interior provides a striking contrast, grounding the piece in quiet, imperfect beauty. A meditation on wabi-sabi for the serene, art-forward interior.
