A set of two hand-thrown ceramic vases united by a diagonal cascade of layered ruffle relief—one tall and oval, one short and bulbous. The smooth cream matte body forms a quiet backdrop for the sculptural frill, each fold outlined in thin scarlet red. Hand-sculpted clay sheets are layered and crimped, then bonded to the vessel before glazing. The diagonal composition breaks symmetry, bringing soft movement to the stationary form.
