Kimarite Sumotori Wrestler Sculpture

A set of four stylized abstract figurative sculptures representing Japanese sumotori, each with identical rounded proportions and a distinctive expressive pose. The stocky, heavily built figures feature exaggerated volumes and a traditional sumo topknot. The four pose variations include Sonkyo, Shiko, Oshi-zumo, and Shiranui-gata. Finished in a deep charcoal-black base with irregular brushed streaks and flecks of muted antique gold applied organically across raised curves to replicate aged patina. The smooth semi-matte surface mimics antiqued cast metal with a soft, continuous finish. Designed as a sculptural grouping for a console, shelf, or side table, they bring personality, energy, and cultural richness to wabi-sabi, modern Asian, or eclectic interiors.
