This split-form bookend set transforms everyday book storage into a sculptural narrative, pairing two halves of an antique horse that visually reunite when framing a book stack. Cast in solid resin, the pair comprises an L-shaped front half featuring the horse's head, mane, and chest and a matching rear half with haunch, tail, and saddle details. Both bear a faded ash-grey finish with rusty terracotta accents on the harness and joints, replicating the weathered patina of excavated pottery. The dark charcoal-textured base provides weighted anti-tilt support for heavy hardcover volumes. Placed on study shelves, office bookcases, or living room sideboards, the bookends hold everything from paperbacks to art books. The muted palette complements dark walnut, oak, and wabi-sabi interiors. A cultured accent, a classic symbol of fortune, success, perseverance, and noble grace.
