A horizontal study in rest and form—an abstract human figure, reclining, its silhouette defined as much by what is absent as what remains. The continuous metal form flows from a simplified head, one arm bent to support it in quiet contemplation, through a torso pierced by organic oval voids, to a sweeping arched leg that tapers to two slender supports. Cast in solid zinc alloy and finished in deep matte black, the sculpture balances substantial weight with airy openness—light passes through the hollow cutouts, softening the heavy metal mass. At home on a console, shelf, or desk, it brings a sense of calm, meditative presence to minimalist, wabi-sabi, or contemporary interiors.
